Hawks Bend – Radon & Air Quality Field Study
Canmore Community Housing, in partnership with the National Research Council Canada (NRC), is conducting a study on the impact of retrofitting housing innovations and energy-efficient designs on indoor radon concentrations. This collaboration with the NRC is one of the many ways we are supporting CCH homeowners. While our current study is full, we plan to offer more opportunities for CCH owners to participate in future radon studies with the NRC.
Participants play an important role in helping the NRC determine whether energy efficiency retrofits could affect indoor radon exposures.
